By accessing or using mbPDF ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

mbPDF is operated by a Master student in Casablanca, Morocco. The Service is provided as a free educational project.

2. Description of Service

mbPDF provides free online document conversion services, specifically:

• PDF to Word (DOCX) conversion
• Word to PDF conversion (DOC/DOCX to PDF)

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without any warranties, express or implied.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not upload files containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Not attempt to bypass file size limits (10MB maximum)
• Not use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Not infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Ensure you have the right to convert any uploaded documents

You retain all rights to your uploaded documents. By using mbPDF, you grant us a temporary license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service. This license terminates immediately when files are deleted.

The mbPDF name, logo, and website design are the intellectual property of the creator. You may not copy, modify, or use these elements without permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness of conversions
• Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service
• Warranties regarding the security of files during transmission

You use the Service at your own risk. We do not guarantee that converted files will be compatible with all software or that formatting will be perfectly preserved.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL mbPDF OR ITS CREATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Damages arising from file corruption or conversion errors

This limitation applies even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy is to discontinue using the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless mbPDF and its creator from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, and costs arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Morocco, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Casablanca, Morocco.

The Service is not intended for use by children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.
